FDL 2019

The Frontier Development Lab is a highly competitive research ~10 week internship experience held at SETI in Mountain View California each summer. I was placed on the Floods team, where our research goal was to apply machine learning to predict flood events from USGS river gage data, using the Google Cloud to accelerate the science. I had a awesome time in California as well and our work resulted in multiple NeurIPS conference workshop papers.
